Rangers have, as is tradition, managed to fit roughly three seasons of drama into three-quarters of a campaign since August.

From the deflation of an opening day defeat at Rugby Park to the dramatic unravelling of Michael Beale’s tenure, the long-awaited and still questioned summer rebuild, appointment of a relatively unknown Belgian manager by the name of Philippe Clement and all the ups, downs and in-betweens since. A long overdue League Cup, an Old Firm Scottish Cup Final on the horizon and a title race that’s swung in Celtic’s advantage but still to play for.

It’s been an enthralling season to watch from multiple press boxes around the country and, speaking personally having taken control of the website since the start of this campaign, a memorable seven months or so.
