Nico Raskin says there are far better performances to come from him after impressing in Rangers' 1-1 Europa League draw against Olympiacos.
However, the Belgian is happy to finally be playing in the position he was signed to occupy.
Operating at the base of midfield behind Connor Barron, Raskin was a standout in Athens as Philippe Clement's side earned a deserved point, even if he didn't think so. The draw against last season's UEFA Conference League winners has Rangers sitting on seven points after four matches with games against Tottenham, Manchester United, Nice and USG to come.
Raskin, who lost much of the last year to injury, put in a dominant showing at the Georgios Karaiskakis in a game where Cyriel Dessers' goal cancelled out Ayoub El Kaabi's opener.

Asked if he was happy with his own performance, Raskin said: "Not really, I think first half, personally, I had some difficulty to get into the game. I'm still a bit tired because I've not played a lot and I've just been playing five games in a row for 90 minutes," he said.
"Maybe I need to look at my warm-up, maybe do something even harder to get my second breath earlier in the game. But yeah, overall, I'm happy for the team. When you look at the game, we wanted to win, but coming here, taking one point, yeah, it's a good result."
Pressed on his own performance, Raskin continued: "There is a long way to go. I think especially in the first half, I was maybe sometimes too... I'm not saying nervous, but I was going too quick with the ball. I should have maybe taken a bit more time. There was space to play, to be fair. But, you know, you come here, you don't want to make a mistake early. Like I said, I'm still happy with the performance, especially the second half."
Raskin's run at the base of midfield is his first under Clement. Having initially been signed by the club to play that position in a different system, Raskin believes a No.6 can see the best of him eventually.
"I'm happy to play as a No.6. That's why the club bought me at the time. I had a spell as the No.8 I should have done better, but I'm happy to play now as a No.6. I think my collaboration with Connor [Barron] is good. We love to work together to get the ball back for the team.
"If you ask me, I'd say I love to play as a No.6, to help defensively and to try and give the ball to my No.10, No.8 or winger.
"I'm trying to give my best every time. I know it's not been perfect, but I'm trying to give my best. Then there's games like that you can enjoy and now we go to another important game on Sunday."
