Rangers hero Gennaro Gattuso has never been far from the headlines. 

He famously head-butted Spurs’ Joe Jordan in 2011, and a decade before he came under fire for slapping David Beckham during an international friendly clash against England. Plus, he certainly wasn’t afraid to goad an opponent when on or even off the football pitch.

And the 46-year-old clearly hasn’t changed as he’s matured into first team management - with the former Light Blues midfielder currently in charge at Croatian club, Hajduk Split.

During a recent press conference ahead of his teams Europa Conference League away trip to face Slovakian outfit, Ruzomberok, Gattuso came out with a hilarious one liner when he sat down along side one-time Nottingham Forest loanee, Filip Krovinović.

Prior to the pair taking questions from the assembled press, Gattuso smirks and then says: "Filip, don't speak too much, come on, very quickly and f**k off!" 

It shows the Italian, who spent just over a year at Ibrox between 1997 and 1998, wasn’t wanting his players giving away any unnecessary details to the media - and instead focused on keeping things in-house. A blunt but possibly effective way of media management.
