Rangers not only knocked out Red Star of the last 16 of the Europa League but they also hoovered up a lovely bonus to boot.
In defeating the Serbians 4-2 on aggregate, Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men won a sum of €1.8m simply for qualifying for the quarter-final stage.
They had already received €1.2m for defeating Dortmund in the previous round.
And remarkably, another €16m is available to win before gate receipts, sponsorship and TV cash are taken into account.
While it's impossible to truly say how much Rangers could earn from getting to the final once you factor all that in plus Catore's inevitable merchandise bonanza, there's no doubt it's the kind of money that would transform the club's finances.
And that's before you factor in winning the competition gives you an automatic slot in the group stages of the Champions League which comes with a £40m cash guarantee.
Courtesy of the respected Swiss Ramble website, here are the figures that could be won at each stage for participation alone.
Quarter-final participation - €1.8million
Semi-final participation - €2.8million
Final participation -€4.6million
Winners - €8.6million
Total: €17.8m
