Allan McGregor: Wasn’t involved at all in what will likely be his final game at Ibrox. Called into action with his feet on a few occasions. 6
James Tavernier: Granted complete positional freedom as his team camped in the opposition half, even popping up in the centre-forward role at points. Went close with an early shot and got his goal after working a one-two well with Lowry. 8
Connor Goldson: The centre-back is used to seeing plenty of the ball but tonight’s involvement stood out, Goldson had space to shoot from range, move into the midfield and play into the penalty box. A strong header assisted Scott Wright’s opener. 7
Calvin Bassey: Played the first half at centre-back before moving to left-back in place of Barisic. Got up the touchline well after the interval and as ever, dominated in his individual duels. 7
Borna Barisic: Used the ball well and after tucking inside to form a back three when building play before arriving in the attacking third. 6
John Lundstram: Two left-footed drives were struck with force but misplaced. A largely quiet evening for Rangers’ all-action midfielder and like the rest of his team, supporters will just be glad that he managed to escape injury-free. 6
Glen Kamara: Ran beyond the defence on plenty of occasions and sat high up the pitch. Involved in some neat interplay around the penalty box and always used the ball well when found, picking up intelligent spaces in the attacking third. 7

Alex Lowry: Grew into the game, with some lovely touches to speed up the play arriving just before a one-two with Tavernier lead to a penalty. Punched the ball through the lines instead of simply moving possession on and always livened up the occasion when possession came his way. 8
Joe Aribo: Started well and looked all the better for a rest at the weekend, utilising his trademark dragback to earn space in attacking areas. Went close with a couple of shots and very unfortunate to not convert a cross from Scott Wright just before the break. 7
Scott Wright: Playing the hybrid attacking role which has earned him a place back in the team, Wright was able to pick the ball up in pockets and turn quickly, utilising his raw pace over a short distance. Demonstrated good anticipation to open the scoring from a corner. Gave up possession cheaply for Jordan White’s goal. 7
Ryan Kent: Wasn’t involved heavily prior to the interval, understandably playing with an air of conservation. A couple of pop shots after cutting infield narrowly missed the target after the break. 6
Substitutes
Amad Diallo: Impressed from the bench at the weekend and although the winger saw less of the ball on this occasion, he had some good moments with it. Flashed a right-footed drive just past the post with 15 minutes to go and won a good few one-v-ones and got his goal late on. 8
Leon Balogun: Strode into midfield twice win free-kick soon after coming off the bench, clipped the post with a header moments after the second foul. 7
Fashion Sakala: Bright and lively from the bench without having any real attacking input until he scored his side’s third with an excellent diving header. 7
Steven Davis: Kept the ball well at the base of midfield. 5
Scott Arfield: Helped to see the game out. 5
