Rangers friendly with Sunderland ended in farcical circumstances in the Algarve tonight when the second half failed to restart due to a floodlight failure.
A 45-minute delay in getting the lights back on meant the players had been left cooling their heels on the sidelines and it was decided to cancel the match.
Rangers were a goal down as the match was about to restart after Luke O'Nein's goal.
Our man Derek Clark was there and went live on Twitter to report what was going on.
You can watch every moment as darkness takes hold of the Estadio Municipal de Albufeira.
The lights come back on as Derek's live report was going out but soon a decision was taken to call it a night.
