RANGERS manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst has confirmed that Ryan Kent will be part of tomorrow's squad to face Union Saint-Gilloise.

The winger missed last week's trip to Belgium and Saturday's win over Kilmarnock with an injury he appeared to sustain against Livingston on the opening day of the season.

His absence was keenly felt against Union as Rangers suffered a 2-0 defeat in the first leg of their third-qualifying round double-header.

His return will offer a welcome boost, following Alfredo Morelos' first appearance in five months against Kilmarnock. Kent trained with the squad earlier today ahead of tomorrow's meeting at Ibrox. His fitness levels will be assessed ahead of the game.

"It's very positive to me that he was on the pitch today," the manager said at his press conference today.

"We have to assess tomorrow. We still have 24 hours. It's a player who if he's fit to play I will have a lot of thinking on my mind. He can be the difference tomorrow. It all depends on his fitness but he's in the squad and that is a sign that if he's fit we want to use him."

Van Bronckhorst also confirmed Fashion Sakala will also be involved in the squad to face Union. The Zambian forward was absent at the weekend.
