The match ratings from the Tony Macaroni as Rangers won 3-0 thanks to a double from captain James Tavernier and a tidy finish from Kemar Roofe.

Allan McGregor: Had very little to do as Rangers dominated the game with the ball at the other end of the pitch. 6

James Tavernier: An early effort on goal flew just over the bar. Another good dig after the ball fell to him following a corner was well saved by Shamal George. Looked a lot more like the player we have seen in recent seasons, full of energy and drive down the right flank. Converted the opening goal from the spot with a well-struck penalty. Booked for a smart professional foul as Livi broke on the counter. Fired home a lovely free-kick from 25-yards to put the seal on his best display of the season. 9

Borna Barisic: An aggressive, thrusting performance down the left side where he always offered an option on the overlap. Like his captain, is looking much more comfortable recently after a shaky spell of form. 7

Ben Davies: Strolls through games and looks very comfortable alongside Goldson on the left side of defence. His true quality will be tested in bigger games but his crisp use of the ball and cool head make him a good foil for his more physical partner. 7

Connor Goldson: Dealt well with the physical presence of Joel Nouble, a player who has caused Rangers problems before. Constantly talking to his teammates, he's the on pitch leader, a quality he shows consistently in games like this. 7

Glen Kamara: The Finn did a lot of dirty work in the middle. It wasn't flashy but it was effective. A selfless display for his teammates who he covered intelligently. 7

Nico Raskin: A brilliant pass early doors to release Sakala, there were flashes of his quality throughout. Probably only gave the ball away once in the game and always demanding the ball. Subbed late on with battles ahead in mind.  7

Todd Cantwell: A player capable of moments to change a match, he had a few lovely touches. He's also full of graft and has the ability to win the ball in high areas. He's certainly not work-shy and had a good game, constantly looking to probe Livi's backline for weakness. 6

Fashion Sakala: Had the ball in the net after 10 minutes with a deft finish from Morelos' cross but it was ruled offside. Was a constant threat, even if the quality was sometimes intermittent. Rangers seemed to target switches of play to his side and he was always available. Interacts well with Cantwell with whom he seems to be building an understanding. 6

Ryan Kent: Wasn't as involved as Rangers would like but still showed flashes of class. Was put through on goal by Cantwell but took a dodgy second touch and was foiled by the onrushing George. Always a threat when he had the ball. 6

Alfredo Morelos: Won the penalty after his shirt was pulled by Omeonga. As mercurial as ever. Sometimes his link-up play is top-class, other moments it's sloppy and slack. He's still not the Morelos of old. Will that player ever return? You'd imagine it's a question power brokers will be asking as they assess the value of a potential contract. Subbed with 15 minutes to go. 6

Substitutes

Kemar Roofe: Looked dangerous from the moment he entered the pitch and flashed a shot wide from an acute angle. Was fouled by Stephane Omeonga as he broke free, leading to the midfielder's dismissal and Tavernier's second goal from a free-kick. Scored from 6 yards after a stramash in the box. If he can stay fit, he's surely Rangers' no.9 for the remainder of the term. 7

Antonio Colak: Entered the game with a quarter of an hour to play. Nearly got on the end of a delicious Tavernier cross. Looked eager to get involved. 4

Late subs: Bailey Rice, James Sands and Scott Wright.
