Detailed ratings as Rangers recorded a 3-1 win over Hibernian at Easter Road.

Robby McCrorie: Fumbled an unthreatening corner early on and looked uncomfortable from a number of crosses. McCrorie’s speed off his line has been noticeable in recent weeks and it was on display again to thwart dangerous through balls. Looked to have maintained his 100% clean sheet record with a good save in added time but Hibs scored from the resulting corner. 6

James Tavernier: Fitting that he scored on his 400th appearance for Rangers - Tavernier’s attacking numbers since joining the club are phenomenal. His free-kick was clever and executed perfectly  - even if David Marshall was culpable. Troubled a number of times by Elie Youan’s pace in the first half but defended well thereafter. 8

John Souttar: Really assured performance. Souttar stepped up in Connor Goldson’s absence to become the senior centre-back and he strolled through the ninety minutes. Looked really confident when progressing the ball from the back and his passing was impressive but he was visibly fuming to concede in stoppage time. Souttar possesses the ability to become an important player - if he can stay fit. 8

Leon King: Handed his first competitive start under Michael Beale and the 19-year-old impressed. King looked to be assertive in possession and he also carried an aerial threat from a couple of early corners. King looked much better than earlier in the season when he was paired with James Sands in makeshift partnership but it’ll be interesting what happens with the youngster this summer. 7

Ridvan Yilmaz: Another solid performance from the Turkish international. Yilmaz is really proactive defensively and he kept Chris Cadden - one of Hibs’ biggest threats - completely quiet. His recent performances highlight why he deserves to be Rangers starting left-back next season. 7

Nicolas Raskin: Former Belgian boss Roberto Martinez recently compared him to Rangers favourite Rino Gattuso and Raskin’s intensity and aggression to regain possession is reminiscent of the Italian. Raskin passed efficiently but left the field early after a knock to his knee and hopefully it was a precautionary measure. 7

John Lundstram: Lundstram rarely thrives in these types of games, when Rangers dominate possession and are tasked with breaking down a packed defence. But he helped Rangers completely control proceedings and he almost capped a good second half display with a goal from a left-foot volley. 6

Ryan Jack: Showed why Rangers handed him a one-year contract extension. Positionally, Jack is excellent, while his intelligence and combativeness allowed Rangers to completely control the midfield battle. Beale trusts Jack and it’s clear to see why - he offers stability to Rangers in the middle of the pitch. 7 

Todd Cantwell: The catalyst behind Rangers’ excellent win over Celtic and while he wasn’t as impressive, Cantwell still showed moments of quality. Found good pockets of space, always wanted the ball and worked hard out of possession. Capped off a good performance with his third goal in three games. 8

Ianis Hagi: Pretty anonymous in the first half and gave away possession too often. Beale mentioned pre-match that the remaining games this season will be important for Hagi moving into the summer. It’s important to stress that he’s still building full match fitness after a serious injury and it was an emotional moment when he found the bottom corner with a precise finish. Improved after his goal as he gained confidence. 6


Fashion Sakala: A quiet afternoon for the Zambian. Sakala is less suited to playing as the central striker than he is in wider areas. He popped up in some promising possessions but he tended to take the safe option. 6

Substitutes

Scott Arfield: Replaced Raskin on 53 minutes and ensured Rangers continued to keep Hibs at arms length. Showed great energy and always looked to get forward. 6

Alex lowry: Welcome cameo from the youngster and he will hope to be part of Beale's plans next season. 4

Robbie Ure: Young striker got the final few minutes. 4

Arron Lyall: Handed his Rangers first-team debut. 4
