Everything Giovanni van Bronckhorst said to Sky after the game against St Johnstone.
The Ibrox side won 1-0 thanks to an early Glen Kamara strike.
What was your reaction to the game?
Three points in the bag and we go home.
Is it as simple as that?
Sometimes football is like that. It was a very tough game as we said before the game. There were a lot of duels and a lot of long balls. The pitch wasn't It is always good to start. We won our duels, sometimes a game needs that. It wasn't the standard we want to play our game. We need to play a little bit differently. The early goal lifted us up. They were opening up after that. In the first half, you see a lot of chances after that to score. Scotty hit the post, Morelos had a shot from close range over the bar. In the second half, I don't think we gave a chance away and had to fight to win this game and we did.
How key was that early start to set the tone?
It was because they started with five defenders and the first goal made them change the system which made it a little bit easier for us. It's always good to start but as we have seen before we had many chances again but I think we were very solid defensively. We won our duels. Sometimes a game needs that and today was that game.

Is this the balance you have to take between clean sheets and getting goals?
If you score a goal and are very ruthless in defending then you will win the game but we could have won again by a greater margin but in the end, I'm really happy with the points because we needed them.

You didn't make any changes tonight, did you feel things were going well enough?
Yeah, sometimes you change to turn things around but I didn't feel we needed a change. I was so focused on the game to get the win after 90 minutes so I didn't think about any changes.
