We are absolutely delighted and happy because of the result. This is what we wanted before the game. We knew that Braga is a good team but we felt we could beat them and go to the semi-final. We did that and we are very happy.

How satisfied were you with your performance after a difficult few weeks for you?

I’m very happy to help the team to win. I had a couple of weeks that were hard but I always work hard at training because I knew my chance would come and I wanted just to help the team. I’m pleased because I helped them today and we won.

Does this allow the players to dream about what’s possible in this competition?

Yes, we are dreaming about that now but we have a semi-final that will be very tough. We are looking forward to playing that game but we are happy.

How confident are the squad going into the semis?

Yes, this game gives us confidence, especially games like this when we play extra time so it showed our team spirit and we showed that we are capable. We are playing in the semi-finals of the Europa League, this is a big achievement for the club, for the fans and for us so this game will give us a lot of confidence for sure.

How’s the injury, are you going to be ready for Sunday?

Yeah, it’s not an injury it was just a few cramps that I felt 10 to 15 minutes before the 90 but I tried to play until the end and then I couldn’t anymore. That’s probably because I couldn’t play for a long time.

How do you get yourself up for the game on Sunday?

Of course, it would be much better if we played 90 minutes but it is what it is. If it takes 120, the most important thing is that we won this game. Tomorrow, we will start to think about Sunday, we are professionals, we will be ready for the game on Sunday.
