What was your view on the game?

It was good to get more minutes. A couple of times I rushed my passes but I thought it went well.

Does the manager encourage you to take risks?

Yeah, its doing it in moments. At points I maybe try things too much but I’ve been trying to do things since I was young, I’m that type of player and my first thought is to go forward.

Does your teammate’s encouragement help?

I think I have self-belief but the boys in the dressing room are great with me, they always want me to try things. They all encourage me to do my thing.

Does your contract give you stability?

Yeah, now the contract is out of the way I can concentrate solely on my football. That hanging around for a while wasn’t great and it was a wait. However, it’s done now and football is the main thing. I’m just looking to kick on and perform well for Rangers.

How happy were you to sign that contract?

I’m buzzing. You can see where the club is going, we’re in a European final, that was a key point. Also the fan base and everything about the place I’ve loved since I was young, I didn’t want to go anywhere else.
