Did you get everything you wanted out of today?

Yes, in that order [three points, minutes in legs and academy debuts]. Of course, we had some changes but we played as we wanted. In the first half it was hard because we didn’t score the goal despite having the chances to do so. Dundee United defended well. In the second half, the spaces opened and in those moments we attacked really well. We were able to change some players, and give chances to the academy players. It was a good day for us.

How important is it to retain momentum?

It’s very important to maintain your level because we need the highest level possible for the last two games of the season. We don’t want to take our foot off the gas, we just keep going and make sure we reach our levels.

How pleased were you with the academy players?

Very, because it’s always good to see the young players play. They gave a lot of energy to the team and the crowd, who love to see academy players get minutes. In the end, we got a good result.

Is the reality of reaching the Europa League final starting to sink in?

The final is getting closer with each game we play. We could feel the atmosphere, the crowd sung about Seville and now we have to build up everything to be the best Rangers team we can a week on Wednesday.
