RANGERS striker Antonio Colak netted a double against Ross County as the Ibrox club eased to a 4-0 win yesterday.
The Croatian spoke to Rangers TV following the victory, here is everything he had to say.
Antonio, another Man of the Match performance, how do you sum today’s game up?
We are really happy that we won 4-0 at home. It was really important, especially after the European night we had. We wanted to solve it as fast as possible and show our dominance and I think we solved it quite well. We created a lot of chances, scored a lot of goals and kept a clean sheet, it couldn’t be better.
In terms of an attacking performance, is that maybe the best we’ve seen from Rangers so far this season?
Yeah, I think so. We created a lot of space for each other, created a lot of possibilities, everybody being in the box and we got each other’s back, even if we lost the ball. I think, offensive-wise, we created a lot of chances, scored a lot of goals and even today we could’ve had an even higher result. We just focus and try to improve in every match and every training session.
You’re up to seven goals and we’re still in August, how much are you enjoying this period?
I’m enjoying it so much. I just try to keep working hard and take this wave. For me, as a striker, it means so much and to score so many goals in this short period, it couldn’t be better as a new player. I just want to continue like that and keep pushing.
Being able to celebrate these goals in front of the supporters, what has that meant to you?
It’s the best feeling at Ibrox, in front of our own fans. I enjoy every moment and every goal and I just want to keep it like that.
