Everything the manager said to the BBC after today's Old Firm defeat.
Of course, it's very disappointing. You know the start you have is important and also in terms of how the game will develop. We knew the threat they have with quickly taken throw-ins and free-kicks and we were twice exposed which gave two goals away. That’s very disappointing because we knew they were going to do that and still we were not prepared enough.
What did you make of those first-half moments?
Those moments in the first half decide the game. The longer the 0-0 is on the scoreboard the more you can grow. That wasn’t the case. I’m disappointed with the result and the goals. I'm disappointed we couldn’t give the game we wanted for our fans.
How big a blow is it to be five points behind this early?
We have lost five points, there is still a lot to be played for with three games against Celtic, we have to move on get stronger and make sure the moments we had today can never happen again, no matter which opposition we play.
What was your message to the players after the game?
Of course [the result] is not good for the confidence. You should feel the way we all do. You can’t look forward to Wednesday, everyone needs to learn and reflect. The same for me. We are feeling very disappointed and tomorrow we have to work forward to concentrate on Ajax.
Can your players learn and get the better of Celtic going forward?
We’ve done it before. It’s only one game. We have to go forward and make sure we can close the gap of five points.
