Every word Giovanni van Bronckhorst said to BT Sport after the game.
What did you say to the players after the game?
It's a very disappointing result. We were playing well in the first half. We were in the game. We know their strengths, when you lose the ball in the middle of the pitch they are so fast in transition and we got caught a couple of times. What we did well in the first half was play more directly. Play for the second ball and the ball in behind the defence. We created some good chances. The further game went the more we played short which meant they were pressuring us. We didn't do that well. We had to play more directly and play from the second ball to give us a chance of scoring more goals. It was 3-1 after 60 minutes and just as we were going to put strikers on to get something out of the game (they scored again). Of course the injuries didn't help, we lost two moments and after that it went really quick and we conceded too many easy goals and the game went.

There was so much hope after the first goal, were you were hoping to build on that?
Of course, you want the start we had today with the 1-0. With the set piece we conceded the 1-1 and we have been strong in those moments lately away from home last week. Today the first set piece went in. In the second half we conceded a goal too easily and then after that we tried to push but after the 3-1 you could see we were struggling. They upped the tempo. We were not accurate with our passing and that's why we conceded so many goals.
And they have world-class finishers who can punish you don't they?
If you see the changes they can make in the end, with the quality players they have coming on, we knew they have the quality and we have to be strong and focused throughout the whole game and we didn't do that.
What now with the group?
I'm not thinking about anything. I'm processing this defeat and that's all I'm considering at the moment.
