Ryan Kent admits Rangers had to "correct" their shoddy performance in the 2-1 defeat against St Johnstone last weekend and put Hearts to the sword.
The Ibrox club struggled against a stubborn Hearts side in the first half tonight but were much improved in the second, scoring the winning goal through Malik Tillman.
Kent was brilliant in the second 45 and was instrumental in teeing up the winning goal after he waltzed past three Hearts challenges to play in Borna Barisic whose cross was converted.
And Kent was adamant the players were keen to put the ghosts of McDiarmid Park to rest.

He told Rangers TV: "The boys put a shift in. We had to correct the result from the weekend. Everyone was really disappointed and we knew how important it was to win tonight. We have to keep going that way now.
"I was happy enough with my performance and I felt I was dangerous in the game. The boys played really well behind me in order to get the ball to me in good areas. On any other day we could have scored more but the most important thing is the three points.
"We take the positives into the weekend before the break. It's key we get the three points, use that momentum and regroup after the break."
