Ryan Kent spoke to Sky Sports following the 3-2 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
Here is everything he had to say.
How satisfying was that in the end?
Obviously, it’s good to come away with three points. We’d have rather not conceded so late on in the game, it was a little bit edgy towards the end but overall we’ve come away with the three points, that’s the main thing.
You’re giving yourselves a bit of work to do just now by going behind in games.
Yeah, I’d say so, especially with needless goals. They’re probably down to a lack of concentration rather than the opposition having to do too much with it.
How pleasing was it to get on the scoresheet again?
I keep trying to get on the scoresheet, keep getting in the areas. A slight tweak in position means I'm managing to get in those positions where I can get shots away.
Is it fair to say that's something you need to improve on?
I definitely need to improve on it. A player in my position and I think a player of my quality definitely needs to be adding more goals to my game. My all-round game needs to improve as well and keep striving to be better.
Have we seen the best of Alfredo Morelos again with his contribution tonight?
Alfredo’s main asset is getting into those key areas, being clinical and putting those goals away. The little bits in between like keeping the ball and stuff will come the more games he starts to play but I think the most important thing for him, being the player that he is, is definitely getting on the scoresheet.

Have any decisions been made about your future?
No decisions on my future have been made as of yet. I'm concentrating on the remainder of the season. I am sitting down with the manager and discussing my future. It's not distracting.
Is it distracting?
Maybe for people discussing it on the outside, it may seem that way but I'm just concentrating on my game and I have full trust in the manager to keep backing me to play and we will go from there.
How important is the manager in this decision?
The manager has been key in my career since I was a young lad. I have full trust in him and that's reciprocated. He's a quality manager and coach.
