What are your reflections on the game?
I’m delighted with everything. It’s been three games in six days, all away from Ibrox. I want to talk about our fans who have travelled around in January, which isn’t easy after Christmas and New Year. I’m pleased to reward them by getting through. When the draw was made, everyone looked at it as a sticky game on a difficult pitch. That’s exactly what it was. It wasn’t perfect but the most important thing was winning, a clean sheet and being in the next round. I’m absolutely delighted.
A great goal for Borna?
I’ve just been told it’s Borna’s first goal from open play in a couple of years so well done to him. He got an assist in midweek as well. I was told at a press conference recently that fans were criticising him. They won’t be criticising him tonight.
Does your squad need an injection of energy?
We certainly didn’t need three games in six days on two cow fields. You can expect to see something before the end of the window but I’m not going to say it’s definitely those guys (Whittaker and Raskin). We’re going to bring some players in and one or two might go the other way.
What did you make of Morgan Whittaker not being included in the Swansea squad?
I didn’t see that Whittaker wasn’t in the Swansea squad. Russell Martin said he would be.
What did you make of the build-up to the goal?
Quietly we’ve been scoring good goals, which hasn’t really been picked up on. That’s Fashion at his best, driving into the box. It was fantastic for Borna and it came at the right time for us. It’s been a tough week and we were running on empty a bit. The same players have given me a lot. I don’t think it would help the team if I rotated too much. We’re not in that position of strength yet. We’ve got a free week now before St Johnstone again at Ibrox. Out of the nine games, since I arrived, six have been away from Ibrox so the schedule hasn’t been kind to me.

Could you have made it more comfortable?
I think it was the same in midweek, we were a bit nervy in the last five minutes but it was our own doing as we should have scored a couple more, that was certainly the case here. I have to say, every time we come here Callum has them up, very organised, they stay in the game and they get that moment at the end and could have forced extra time. I think he does a fantastic job, Callum's an excellent manager.
Any updates on the transfers?
We will be strengthening, players will come back. Antonio was on the bench today if we needed a penalty or needed five minutes. If I can get Antonio fit and playing with Alfredo I think it will add a different dimension. Scott Wright came on tonight and I thought he was excellent. Ryan Kent and Fashion are giving me every single ounce of energy they've got. In time new players will come in, we'll get more players fit and we'll look stronger. But I tell you what, the results ain't too bad.
How much will a week on the training pitch help?
I'm going to give them a couple of days first just to relax. They've seen a lot of each other and been in a lot of hotels this week. They are probably hating listening to my voice because I'm obviously getting into them a little bit. I'll give them a little bit of a breather and then we'll get ready to play St Johnstone at home and hopefully, there will be one or two new faces in the starting line-up.
Are any players going out this window?
Young Charlie McCann is obviously having a chat with Forest Green so there will be some update on that but other than that there is nothing else.
