How the players rated as Rangers dispatched Raith Rovers 3-0 to reach the semi-final of the Scottish Cup.

Allan McGregor: There was very little for the keeper to do as Raith adopted a predictably defensive approach. A quiet afternoon is always welcomed by the 41-year-old and the men in front of him. 6

James Tavernier: Was given a lot of freedom to attack down the right flank and put several quality balls into the box with few takers. Was unlucky not to score just after half-time when his 12-yard drive was deflected onto the post. Put in an excellent ball for the second goal that luckless Ryan Nolan sliced into his own net. 7

Borna Barisic: Showed his quality with a succession of good deliveries from the start. His corner for the opening goal was exquisite. The Croat isn't everybody's cup of tea but he continues to rack up assists thanks to his wand of a left foot. Substituted after an hour to give Ridvan some minutes. 7

Connor Goldson: Uncharacteristically sloppy in his play to give Goncalves a chance early doors and was again at fault when Raith carved out a chance before half-time. The big Englishman made up for it though with a thumping header from Barisic's pinpoint corner to open the scoring. He nearly fashioned an opening in the second half with some nimble footwork and a zippy one-two with Sakala. Subbed after an hour for John Souttar. 6

Ben Davies: A typically unruffled display at the back. Almost completely untested. 7

John Lundstram: The big Scouser kept things moving in the middle of the pitch. Booked for a needless challenge when the game was won. 6

Nico Raskin: The Belgian has added so much already to Rangers' engine room. He moves the ball quickly and accurately which allows much quicker transitions. While not a flashy display it's obvious what the winter window signing brings to the table and he will only get better given his tender years. 7

Todd Cantwell: Worked hard to fashion opportunities but didn't have a major impact on the match until the 87th minute when a wonderful disguised pass found Scott Arfield. The Englishman is clearly a gifted creator but you'd like to see him develop his own ability to get into scoring situations as the season goes on. 7

Ryan Kent: Unleashed a wild shot from 25 yards with five minutes of the first half to go. Was cynically pulled back twice when breaking in good situations and never stopped trying to find space to operate in. Left the pitch with 15 minutes remaining. 6

Fashion Sakala: Was typically mercurial, losing possession one minute then producing the next. Went down very easily in the first half claiming for a penalty and was lucky not to be booked for this efforts. Not one of his better days at the office. 5

Antonio Colak: The Croat may be a big guy, but he's no target man. Much better on the deck than the air, his battle with Tom Lang played to his opponent's strengths as his teammates put in too many crosses. Subbed off after 75 minutes. 6

Substitutes

Ridvan Yilmaz: Hit the side netting and looked sharp in his 30-minute cameo. 5

John Souttar: Untested but a welcome spell on the grass after such a long period out. 4

Scott Arfield: Wasn't heavily involved in the action after coming on but slotted home the third after being played in by Cantwell. 5

Alfredo Morelos: Looked keen to get involved. 3

Ianis Hagi: A late sub for Kent. Was involved in the build-up for the third goal. 3
