James Tavernier (JT) and Todd Cantwell (TC) were speaking to Sky Sports after a 4-2 win over Motherwell.
How do you sum that one up?
TC: Eventful to be fair, I think at times we dominated the ways we wanted to and at times we were a little bit loose. We’ve come here for the win and we’ve got it.
Your first goal in nearly two years?
TC: Delighted. Tav’s been hammering me about playing higher up and making sure I’m not just on the ball making passes from behind, but that I’m on the end of them. He’ll be pleased for me!
You got on the scoresheet as well James, what did you make of it overall?

JT: Obviously we were disappointed coming in at half-time, we felt we dominated but conceded a sloppy goal and we’re loose in our play. We fixed it at half-time, the second half was much better and I’m just pleased we got four goals. We could’ve got more but I’m pleased with three points.
Tell us about the impact of Todd?
JT: You know what, he’s been a credit to himself since he’s come in the door. He’s worked really hard, got his head down and he’s a match-winner for us. We just have to keep giving him the ball and I’m happy for him getting on the scoresheet.
You’re on 98 Rangers goals, could you have had a couple more today?
JT: I should’ve had three or four today. The last one I should’ve shot with my left foot so I know I’m going to get some stick" But, happy to get on the scoresheet and pleased that we’ve won.
Todd, now it’s the international break, how do you utilise that and is it a case of kicking on when you’re back?
TC: Absolutely that, we’ve put together a run and we want to carry that on when we get back. It’s good, especially for the boys who have been here from the start and had a lot of games to have a bit of a break before getting straight back to it.
