Here's everything the midfielder had to say to RangersTV.
An excellent result today?
Definitely, considering the away games are tough here, we scored three and that’s a positive. With another two wins we go into the summer on a positive note.
How much did that goal mean to you?
A lot. 30 seconds with the guys down there, I tried to grab someone and hold my emotions together but I just couldn’t. In those 30 seconds, the last 16 months flashed in front of my eyes and it took me so long to get back to scoring goals. I’m happy to do this, it’s another challenge and I have more ahead of me. I’m really grateful I’m at this football club and I can still play considering the big injury.
Special to score in front of the fans?

Look, all the hard work I put in, these are the moments that make it worth it. Having so many fans supporting you and sending you so much love, you’ve got to take a moment and just enjoy it with them. It’s worth it, considering my situation 10/12 months ago and seeing myself now kicking a ball with my mates and scoring a goal, I can’t be more thankful than I am. There are challenges ahead and I can’t wait to face them.
How much has everyone helped you get back?
Doubt regarding myself and my football, I never had it. Mentally you have to go through different stages in the injury but I never had doubts about who I am and what I can do on the football pitch. It’s just about feeling fit, ticking the boxes and today is another one, my first goal back. I'm embracing everything that comes, that’s my mentality, I’ll see where it takes me.
What are the aims until the summer?
We have two more games and want two wins, get into pre-season, try to be fit as soon as possible and work on our chemistry, it’s going to be a big summer for us and the month of August will be hectic with the number of games we have to produce results. I know the script I’ve been here for three years, with challenges ahead you have to embrace it and try to make the best out of it.
