Cyriel Dessers was speaking after his double in Rangers' 3-0 win over Dundee at Ibrox.

How good was it to be back at Ibrox?

Oh yeah. Felt really good to be back, just the small things, like arriving at the parking lot, going through the fans, seeing the fans before the game. It's always a good feeling."

You must be pleased individually?

Yeah, obviously, we know Dundee is a tricky team, but just to be back here at Ibrox, win, score a couple of goals, keep a clean sheet, Jack made some amazing saves. Yeah, it was a good night.

Can tonight act as a bit of a catalyst?

Yeah, yeah. Maybe it could be. Obviously, we just, it sounds cliche, but we're just looking at game to game, because we have so many games. But yeah, it's just nice feeling to be back, and we take the positives out of it. And we wanted to give something to the fans as well on the first night back."

How do you see the competition from Hamza Igamane?

I'm happy with that, actually. I think at a big club like Rangers, there will always be competition. I think, I think that's good, because we play 65 games in the season, probably I will not play 65 games, 90 minutes. So I think it's really good that Hamza and Dani are here, and I'm sure we will need them, and that they will be ready at that moment. You can see Hamza. He has something. I can see it as well in the training when he comes in, he has something, and I'm happy with that, and I'm supporting him. He's supporting me. We're helping each other because we know in the long season, like you have at Rangers, and you want to do well in the two cups, in the league, in Europe, you cannot do it alone as a striker. We will need all of our strikers this season, and hopefully we can score a lot of goals, all of us.

Seven goals in eight games is impressive?

Yeah, it's a decent form. I'm happy with those stats. A few assists as well. So I think yeah, I'm in a good moment right now, good momentum. But I just want to keep going. Obviously, you want more than this, but I'm happy. It's good to start a season like this, and I want to keep building on this.

What have you made of Nedim Bajrami?

Yeah, I know Nedim. I played against him in Italy, so I know his qualities. I see his qualities on the highest level in Serie A. He's a very, very good player. So I was happy when he signed. He showed things in training, he showed things today that make me happy as a striker. He's a player who is looking for a striker, trying to provide, trying to find a good connection, so we can help each other with runs or passes. And, yeah, I think this, I think this is the first time we played together, we start together in a game, and I think you can see the connection, but not only with him. I think with Vaclav at the other side, with Tom Lawrence in midfield, I think I have a good connection with all of these guys. And that's only the beginning of the season, but I think that's surely a start to build on."

Do you have a goals target?

No, I don't really have a target. My target is trophies. But it will be, it will be nice to score more than last season. Then a start like this helps, but obviously you need to stay fit so you keep playing games, and then then hopefully the goals will follow if I do my job for the team."

How do you see the challenge of Malmo?

Yeah, very excited. I think we have a very beautiful but very difficult draw. Malmo away is not an easy start, but these are the games you want to play when you play in Europe. And I think that this, this evening, can give us some, some confidence, a boost. And hopefully we can have a good performance there as well and hopefully win."
