It wasn’t an easy afternoon in Dingwall but Rangers got there in the end.
An eventful match finished 4-2 after goals from Joe Aribo, Connor Goldson, Alfredo Morelos and Scott Arfield ensured the three points returned to Govan.
But there was also the return of the defensive frailties that have haunted Steven Gerrard’s men so far this term as they lost two goals to a ropey looking outfit.
Goldson, Balogun et al will have to be much more robust in the next two games if Rangers are to overcome a sticky start to the campaign.
