BORNA BARISIC admits Rangers must raise their levels in the final third after a 1-0 defeat to Sparta Prague undermined their Europa League ambitions.
A first half header from Dávid Hancko was enough to condemn the champions to a second successive loss that leaves them bottom of Group A.
A defining double-header with Brondby is next on the agenda for Steven Gerrard's side and Barisic was frustrated at another negative result as Rangers were edged out in the Czech capital.
Barisic told RangersTV: "It is disappointing in the end, of course, because we lost the game.
"I think in the end that one moment decided the game, but to be fair they had a couple of chances and we were open, especially after we lost a man on the pitch.
"I think we had a couple of chances and didn’t score and, box to box, we didn’t play that badly.
"But we need to be better in the final third, maybe a better pass, a better relationship, a better cross. I think we need to be better.
"We spoke in the dressing room and we know some things we need to correct in the team.
"It was a disappointing night for us but there are still four matches to play and we are looking forward."
