Steven Gerrard showed what victory over Hibs meant as he celebrated with the Ibrox fans following the final whistle.
The manager normally keeps his emotions in check after games but he was clearly over the moon after the 2-1 victory, facing each stand and pumping his fists in a passionate display the supporters lapped up.
Rangers had struggled in the first half after Kevin Nisbet’s header gave the visitors an early lead.
But the game changed on the 30th minute when Ryan Porteous rashly dived into a challenge with Joe Aribo and was sent from the pitch.
Rangers pressed forward looking to apply pressure and force home their extra man advantage.
And goals from Kemar Roofe and Alfredo Morelos made the difference to send the Ibrox men back to the top of the table ahead of the international break.
And it’s safe to say nobody seemed happier than the manager.
