Allan McGregor: Couldn't prevent the opener and had no other shot-stopping responsibilities. Used the ball well when his side played near the goal with one precise cross-field switch, in particular, catching the eye. 6
James Tavernier: Provided his customary top-tier delivery to earn the equaliser – swinging the ball onto the head of Joe Aribo for the first. His cross fired across the box led to the fourth being turned in. 7
Connor Goldson: Didn’t cover his normally astute high-line marshalling ability in much glory as County took the lead. Generally dealt with Charles-Cook’s pace well but both he and Balogun were evidently troubled by its potential at times. 6
Leon Balogun: The team’s high line didn’t always appear watertight and like his centre-back partner Balogun had more than one nervy moment caused by the prospect of a stretching run. Took a painful-looking knock in the first half but bravely continued with the game. 6
Calvin Bassey: Saw lots of possession in the first half but was inconsistent with his use of it. Often hitting the first man and also at times not making the most of the vast spaces left on either flank. Improved after the break – aggressive in the duel as ever. Allowed White too much space for the fourth. 6
John Lundstram: While partly at fault for the goal, he was given a hospital pass by Hagi – with four players in his vicinity. At times jumped into tackles too eagerly which in turn left space behind him. Recovered from the goal well and until replaced by Jack covered the midfield well. 6
Juninho Bacuna: Had a few nearly moments in the first half. Bursting into the box on two occasions. His ability to beat a man in the first line of pressure, in turn, created space for Bassey and unsettle defensive banks.
Made a couple of wrong decisions but looked ambitious and unfazed on the ball. His goal demonstrated why his profile is so appealing as a midfielder, offering Rangers a different threat from that area. 8

Ianis Hagi: His desire to overplay led to County taking the lead. With bodies on either flank he chose to relay the ball backwards to Lundstram, which led to possession turning over. Grew with the game after slowing the pace early on and had more success in the final third in the second period. 7
Joe Aribo: Playing from the right again with Tavernier closeby – his goal was the product of a number of contributions made from those near-post runs. His underlying expected assists numbers had him as the mosts creative Rangers player from open-play before kick-off – that materialised after the break with provisions for the third and fourth. 8
Ryan Kent: Was the only real bright spark as his team looked void of fluency early on – speeding up the attack and making the most of each spell of possession. Looked equally effective coming short or spinning in behind. His goal was Kent at his direct best, chopping onto his strong foot helped by the threat of his left and unleashing an unstoppable shot. 8
Fashion Sakala: His link-up play looked far improved from previous Ibrox outings. As ever his at times unorthodox approach proved difficult to defend and a goal would have been deserved on the impact he made. Stretched the match to good effect and regained the ball for Bacuna's strike. 7
Substitutes
Kemar Roofe: Unfortunate to see a shot saved from inside the area after Sakala regained the ball high up the pitch. Then clipped the post. 5
Ryan Jack: Returned to rapturous response following so long without a game. 5
Nathan Patterson: A few interesting infield bursts from his left-back starting spot. 5
