Kevin Thomson was uncharacteristically lost for words at the quality of Ryan Kent’s opening goal at Ibrox in the 4-2 win over Ross County – except to say “wow”.
The Kelty Hearts manager was on co-commentator duties with Clive Tyldsley when the English winger hit a wicked, dipping shot from 25 yeards into the top corner to put his side ahead.
Kent has only just returned to the starting lineup after a long spell out with a hamstring injury and the quality of the strike was clearly too much for Ibrox legend Thomson.
The 37-year-old could only repeat “wow” three times before he regained his composure at the goal of the season contender.

"That's why Ryan Kent can play at any level, for me.
"He shifts in and he's thinking 'go on then.' There's whip and there's a bit of dip.
"That shot wasn't saveable. That is the difference. When your brilliant players play, it makes such a huge difference.
"That's at any level. Ryan Kent is a phenomenal talent."
