A great three points tonight, how do you reflect on the game?
I’m happy with the win. It was always going to be quite a tough match today. The game also showed it was tough but very happy with the points because after the 90 minutes you want to leave the stadium with the win.
It was brilliant to see Kemar Roofe back and a cool penalty!
Yes, of course. We brought him and Scott (Wright) to get energy levels up and I think they showed that so I was happy with the goal for Kemar because he’s been injured for the last couple of weeks. So happy for him, happy for the team, happy for the club that we are leaving here with the win.
How impressed have you been with the options you have got here across the park?
The options are there. Not only in the squad but the players who are not here today. I’m very happy with the balance of the team so I was bringing on Sakala for the last ten minutes to give some fresh legs up front and maybe be dangerous in those moments. After the penalty I could switch to John Lundstram so we had balance at the back because we knew they were going to go with the long balls like the whole game but I think John brought us a bit more defensive stability.

And the mentality of the team to keep going and then take that chance...
You fight hard to keep the zero and you try to make chances. We had some chances in the first half with the big one falling to Morelos just before halftime. Second half Ryan Kent already had some good actions so he was a danger around that side and of course, with the penalty we could have scored.
Keeping the zero seems important to you?
Coming to places like Hibs is going to be tough so to leave here with a win but also with a clean sheet for us is massive.
How do you look ahead to the challenge of Dundee at Ibrox?
It’s a short preparation before the games but we have done well so far. We have to keep going. Tomorrow we have the recovery session and then prepare the players for Saturday. Friday we start looking toward Dundee, how we are going to defend against them and how we are going to prepare for them physically but also tactically.
