PSG wonderkid Xavi Simons is reportedly a transfer target for Rangers.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst is only two weeks into the new job at Ibrox.
But the Dutchman is already planning for the future as he looks to the fast-approaching January transfer window.
And it's said that Simons is high on the priority list.
According to Spanish media outlet Diario AS, the Ibrox club are keen on bringing Dutch youth international to Glasgow.
The 18-year-old's contract expires at the end of the season, with super agent Mino Raiola floating his name around for potential suitors.
For Van Bronckhorst, he is reportedly hopeful their Dutch connection could have an impact on any potential deal.
The report states that Rangers have already made informal contact with Raiola about Simons.
However, they could face competition for his signature from some of Europe's biggest clubs.
Barcelona are said to be interested in re-signing their former youth player.
