IANIS HAGI is at the perfect place to develop as a footballer, according to former Rangers defender Dorin Goian.
The Romanian has been linked with moves to Roma, Lyon, Sevilla and Galatasaray in recent months.
However, Goian is hopeful his fellow countryman will remain in Glasgow for some time.
“Ianis Hagi is one of the most talented players in Romania right now," he said.
“He’s watched every game by the football people in Romania, many eyes are on him.
“I hope he will win the league again and continue to improve every game, he has the quality and we know he can do much, much better.
“I think he’s feeling well at Rangers because every time he plays for Romania I watch him in the interviews in how he speaks about Rangers, I can see that’s happy there.
“It’s the best environment for him to play good football, to grow up, to improve day by day.
“Maybe in one or two years, he will have an offer from a big club from Europe and he will move but right now he’s exactly where he needs to be, he’s in an environment where he can improve.”
“I hope, as a Romanian and as a fan, that he loves Rangers.”
