Scott Wright was talking to Rangers TV after the 2-0 win over St Mirren.
What did you make of that today?
The most important thing was to pick up the three points and a clean sheet and we have done that. It’s good to get a win just before the break.
What did you make of your back post header for the opening goal?
Yeah, Christmas miracles isn’t it. There’s been a good ball in to the back post and I’ve just tried to react and I’m glad it’s gone in and Buff (Alfredo Morelos) hasn’t claimed it.

You’ve finally had a full week to work under the new manager. Did we see the benefits today?
Definitely. You could see we were trying to take up different positions and the way we were set up was a bit different. I thought it was effective for us and it got the players we wanted to get on the ball, on the ball and just tried to beat that low block.
Is that a model to break the block going forward?
Yeah, we know we are going to be coming up against it most weeks and it’s just a case of trying to come up with ideas and be creative to break that down. There is an onus on me as an attacking player to do that.

The team must be looking to continue this form after the break?
Yes, I feel that we have a bit of momentum just now, as a team and as a club. We want to try and keep that going but we need to rest up over the break, stay safe and come back ready to go.
