FORMER Rangers and Hearts striker Kyle Lafferty is a free agent after coming to an agreement with Anorthosis Famagusta to leave the Cypriot club.
The 34-year-old made 11 appearances and scored a solitary goal before dropping out of the matchday squad towards the end of the year.
Anorthosis Famagusta were Lafferty's 14th club in a career that has taken the striker to teams such as Serie A's Palermo, Sion in Switzerland and Cayuk Rizespor in Turkey.
The Northern Irishman scored 13 goals in as many games for Kilmarnock in his last stint in Scotland after signing for Tommy Wright's side for the run-in to the 2020-21 campaign.
And Lafferty will now be in the lookout for a new employer after he and the club agreed to terminate his contract.
"Anorthosis Famagusta announces the mutually agreed solution of its cooperation with the football player Kyle Lafferty," a statement read.
"We would like to thank the footballer for his positive attitude towards the solution of our cooperation and we wish him every success on a personal and professional level."
