RANGERS will play Crvena zvezda in the last-16 of the Europa League.
Otherwise known as Red Star Belgrade, the Serbian giants provide the next test for Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men on the European stage.
The draw for the next knockout round took place at 11am at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.
The Europa League group winners were seeded for the draw, and they were drawn against the winners of the knockout round-play-offs.
This meant that Rangers had the potential of facing any of; Eintracht Frankfurt, Monaco, West Ham, Crvena zvezda, Galatasaray, Bayer Leverkusen, Lyon or Spartak Moscow.
This also meant that Rangers avoided a sensational two-legged tie against Barcelona, with the Spanish giants having dropped down from the Champions League earlier in the season.
But Red Star were the name drawn from the hat for the Scottish champions.
The first leg tie will be held at Ibox, with the competition's group winners getting home advantage for the return leg.
The ties will take place on Thursday, March 10 and Thursday March 17.
