RANGERS could play against Red Star Belgrade on the same night that Spartak Moscow are in Serbia for their last-16 Europa League tie.
The Serbian's have offered the Russian outfit the chance to play their 'home leg' against RB Leipzig in their country, following news that UEFA ordered that they would not be allowed to play it in Russia.
It comes in light of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Rangers will play the first leg of their last-16 game against Red Star in Glasgow on March 10.
The return will take place a week later at the Rajko Mitic Stadium in the Serbian capital.
Spartak meet Leipzig at the same stage of the competition, with a neutral venue yet to be decided.
So far, Serbia are the only country in Europe who have not impose financial sanctions on Russia.
And Aleksandar Vucic, the country's President, has announced Spartak would be welcome to play in Belgrade - with the timing clashing with Rangers' scheduled trip.
He said: "In Serbia, we have always been good hosts. If we can help solve some problems by hosting the Spartak Moscow game, then we have no problem with that.
"We offer them the best conditions and we would guarantee the safety of both formal hosts and guests. You have my word on that."
With Rangers due to play on March 17 in Belgrade, Serbian reports have indicated UEFA could order Partizan Belgrade to make their stadium available to host the game on the same night.
