THE dust has settled after a poor result for Rangers on Sunday as Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side dropped two points against Motherwell.

The Ibrox outfit lost a two-goal lead as the Steelmen produced an impressive second-half comeback to earn a point from the league clash.

It was a chance blown for Rangers, who could have gained points on Celtic in the Premiership after their draw at Easter Road against Hibs.

Tavernier questions Rangers mentality

JAMES TAVERNIER insists it would be wrong to question the mentality of his Rangers squad despite the champions suffering another setback in their Premiership title defence.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side missed the chance to cut the gap to Celtic at the top of the table on Sunday as they were held at home by Motherwell for the second time this term.

Rangers have struggled to put together a run of results since returning from the winter break last month and remain three points adrift of their Old Firm rivals.

Rangers offside calls debated

RANGERS striker Alfredo Morelos could've celebrated a hat-trick against Motherwell if not for two offside calls at Ibrox.

The Colombian netted the opener for Rangers in the 2-2 draw with Motherwell yesterday but saw two efforts ruled out by the linesman in the second half.

Morelos and Fashion Sakala had put Rangers 2-0 up in the first 45 minutes before Motherwell battled back to claim a point in Glasgow.
