RANGERS legend Barry Ferguson reckons his old side will need to win all ten remaining league matches to retain their Premiership crown this season.
The Ibrox hero insists the title is still well within Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side's reach, as they trail Celtic three-points at the summit of Scotland's top flight.
Both Old Firm clubs dropped points at the weekend, with Celtic drawing 0-0 away to Hibs and Rangers letting a 2-0 lead slip against Motherwell to finish in a stalemate at Ibrox.
And Ferguson admits there is no doubt Rangers must earn 30-points out of a possible 30 between now and May.
He told Go Radio's Football Show: "There's ten games left, you've got to get 30 points. No doubt about it.
"Look at the games he mentioned. Aberdeen, Ross County, Dundee United, take Celtic into the equation - 3-0 they got beat - and then you look at it again on Sunday.
"It's disappointing and frustrating. But they've got another game on Wednesday night at McDiarmid Park, St Johnstone are fighting for their lives.
"This is one of these games that I don't care how you play, you roll your sleeves up and make sure you come in after 90 minutes with the three points."
However, fellow pundit Davie Provan remains to be convinced either Old Firm side could string such an impressive run of form together.
He added: "I don't think either Old Firm side are showing the type of consistency that suggests they can win their last ten games.
"I don't know if that's ever been done before. I just wonder if the difference might be Rangers playing Thursday-Sunday.
"It might give Celtic an advantage in terms of resting legs. It gives Postecoglou the option of giving his boys a day off now and again and keeping some juice for the weekend.
"Rangers don't have that, and it looks as if they could go well into the competition after a good draw in Red Star."
