GIOVANNI VAN BRONCKHORST has confirmed he will be without the services of Steven Davis for the first leg of Rangers' Europa League last-16 tie with Red Star Belgrade.
The Premiership champions welcome the Serbs to Ibrox on Thursday night before travelling to the Marakana next week with a place in the final eight of the Europa League up for grabs.
However, Davis will play no part in the first leg after Van Bronckhorst ruled the veteran midfielder out of contention - with the Dutchman adding that on-loan Juventus playmaker Aaron Ramsey will be named on the bench.
"Davis is not available as he has an injury," Van Brocnkhirst told a media conference. "We have a couple doubts for tomorrow but we will be fine.

"Ramsey will be in the squad but will not be starting.
"For us, the most important thing is to have individual programmes for each player to return to full fitness.
"I'm happy to have Ramsey back in the squad and working hard to get Davis and [Ianis] Hagi back also."
