KENNY DALGLISH expects Rangers to get the job done when they take on Red Star Belgrade in the second leg of their last sixteen Europa League tie.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst's team defeated their Serbian rivals 3-0 at Ibrox this week to take a commanding lead into the return fixture.
Dalglish was impressed with Rangers, but he has warned Ibrox supporters not to book their hotels for the final in Seville just yet.
He wrote in the Sunday Post: "I expect Rangers to be in the draw for the quarter-final.
"It will be some achievement. I don’t think they should be afraid of any team.
"That doesn’t mean to say I expect them to get to the final.
"It’s in Seville on May 18 but I wouldn’t be encouraging any Rangers fans to book their flights and hotels just yet!
"However, we also know never to rule Rangers out when it comes to European football.
"Under Steven Gerrard they achieved some remarkable results and they are doing it again under Giovanni.
"But they need to put that to one side and focus on the Scottish Cup game away to Dundee today. That’s the priority, right now."
