Rangers cruised into the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup with a comfortable 3-0 win over Dundee at the Kilmac Stadium.
Defender Connor Goldson drove the Light Blues ahead in the ninth minute before skipper James Tavernier scored from the penalty spot after 24 minutes and the cinch Premiership’s bottom side had no answer.
Giovanni Van Bronckhorst’s side controlled the rest of the game with substitute Fashion Sakala adding a third with three minutes remaining.

GIOVANNI VAN BRONCKHORST has provided an injury update on Ryan Kent after the winger limped off against Dundee in the Scottish Cup today.
The Englishman was involved in a strong 50/50 challenge with Ryan Sweeney and he came off worst as he hobbled off the pitch.
Kent was seen receiving treatment as his knee was iced on the touchline, but Van Bronckhorst insists it was just an impact knock.

Ramsey bounces back for Rangers
AARON Ramsey today pledged to build on his display in Rangers’ emphatic Scottish Cup quarter-final win over Dundee at Dens Park and help the Ibrox club's bids to land silverware this season.
Welsh internationalist Ramsey made his comeback from a three week injury lay-off on Tayside and performed well as Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side eased to a 3-0 triumph.
The Juventus loanee has not featured since coming on in the second-half of the Europa League knockout round triumph over Borussia Dortmund in Germany last month due to a calf problem.
Easy day for Alfie
IT was an easy day at the office for Alfredo Morelos as the striker played 45 minutes before being substituted at half-time with Rangers in cruise control.
The Ibrox outfit booked their place in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup with a comfortable 3-0 victory against Dundee at Dens Park.
Morelos enjoyed the second-half display from the stands and he even filmed the large away support singing his name during the game.
