ALLY MCCOIST believes Giovanni van Bronckhorst could play his wildcard and start Aaron Ramsey against Celtic after the international break.
The Welsh international has struggled to find his fitness since arriving at Ibrox in the January window from Juventus, on loan.
But after playing a full 90 minutes against Dundee at the weekend, and featuring for Wales against Austria last night, McCoist reckons this could be Ramsey's time to shine.
He told Sky Sports: "Well listen, he is class, isn't he? He is a wonderful football player.
"He has, as we all know it has been well documented, he has struggled a little bit with injuries to keep himself 100 per cent fit.
"It has been a great shame as we all want to see great players on the pitch.
"He is certainly that. He will have got a real bonus from scoring his first goal up in Dundee, I believe he may have played the entire game last night for Wales.
"That is really positive in terms of his fitness. I'm hopeful he can get his feet up, have a rest and get himself ready for this Old Firm game.
"I would love to see Aaron Ramsey play in that one, that is for sure."
