RANGERS could lose talented young striker Rory Wilson to Aston Villa, according to a report.

It's said that Steven Gerrard's side look set to beat off competition from three other Premier League clubs for the 16-year-old goal machine.

The Scottish Sun day that Manchester United, City & Liverpool are all fighting Villa to sign Wilson.

However, the report states that Gerard is close to persuading the teen to commit his future to the Villans.

Rangers have offered the young attacker professional contract terms, however, it's said they're resigned to losing him.

He scored twice last week for Scotland's U17s as they played Czech Republic.

He's also bagged on 40 occasions for the Ibrox youth sides this season.

The report says that Rangers will be due just £300,000 should a deal go through.
