KRIS BOYD has sent a cheeky message to referee Bobby Madden after yesterday's Scottish Cup semi-final between Celtic and Rangers.
Madden was the man in the middle for the feisty contest and he was forced to hand out seven yellow cards over the course of the 120 minutes.
The whistler has been called out by Celtic hero Chris Sutton for his performance and he reckons Rangers star Kemar Roofe should have been shown a red card for a challenge on Daizen Maeda.
Madden took to his Instagram after the match and shared some pictures from Hampden showdown alongside the caption "Happy Easter one and all".
Rangers hero Boyd then responded "Same to you" with the cheeky glaring eyes emoji.
Sutton vented his frustrations on Twitter, saying: "Celtic were poor but Bobby Madden turned in one of the worst refereeing performances I’ve seen in Scotland for a long time… and that’s saying something!!!
"Rangers the better team today and deserved to win. Celtic were poor today, missed big George and his physicality to get the team up the pitch.
"Bigger picture is that Ange Postecoglou has done a great job this season and the team need one big final push to win the league."
