KRIS BOYD had no complaints about Leon Balogun's sending off in Rangers 3-1 win over Motherwell today.
However, the former Gers striker did take issue with the consistency of decision-making from referee Nick Walsh.
Balogun lunged in high on 'Well's Dean Cornelius in what was ultimately a very poor challenge.
Moments later though, Juhani Ojala then made a similar style tackle, as he lunged off the deck, catching Gers goal hero Scott Wright late.
And Boyd reckons it's little wonder that Rangers would feel aggrieved that another red card was not flashed by Walsh - with Ojala's tackle only deemed to be a bookable offence.
Boyd said on Sky Sports: "I have no complaints about it and I don't think Leon Balogun have any either.
"He is over the top of the ball and yeah that's a red card for me.
"But it's about the consistency of Nick Walsh. Ojala could easily have walked as well."
James McFadden added: "I think he's fortunate it could have been a red, but its not exactly the same as the Balogun one, where it's over the ball and could hurt someone.
"But he can still count himself lucky that it's not a red card."
