RANGERS Europa League rivals RB Leipzig suffered a shock home defeat today at the hands of Union Berlin.
The German side's preparations ahead of this Thursday's semi-final first leg have taken a dent after a dramatic late comeback in the Bundesliga clash.
Leipzig had the lead early in the second half, as Danish star Yousuf Poulsen scored on 46-minutes.
However, late strikes from Sven Michel and Kevin Behrens saw the points return to the German capital.
Leipzig played Willie Orban, Mohamed Simakan and Kevin Kampl from the start in this one, with all three set to miss the first leg tie with Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side.
Star man Christopher Nkunku started up front, but other key men such as Dani Olmo, Andre Silva and Konrad Laimer were all on the bench.
Rangers comfortably saw off Motherwell earlier today, winning 3-1 at Fir Park.
