STEVEN GERRARD has saluted Rangers for their Europa League heroics against RB Leipzig last night.
The Light Blues booked their spot in the final of the competition after coming from behind in the first leg.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side will now face Frankfurt in the final of the competition in Seville and Gerrard admitted great pride in his former team.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “What a night. What a game and what an atmosphere for everyone connected to the club.
“Really proud of everyone connected to Rangers. It was a fantastic game to watch and listen, it’s thoroughly deserved.
“The journey they’ve been on, Gio and the boys and everyone connected to the club deserve a lot of credit.
“There’s one step to go. I’ll be supporting from afar but I wish them well.”
