RANGERS defender Connor Goldson has committed his future to the club by penning a new four-year deal.
It was widely thought the 29-year-old may have been heading for pastures new after his contract expired following a four-year stay at Ibrox.
Goldson arrived from Brighton in the summer of 2018 and has become an integral part of the club's backline, making 223 appearances.
He was a key figure as the Light Blues won the Scottish Premiership title in 2021 and played a significant role as Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men reached the final of the Europa League and won the Scottish Cup last term.
#RangersFC today wishes to put on record our sincere thanks to Connor Goldson for his service to the club over the past four years…

He joins Steven Davis and Scott Arfield in signing new deals.
Manager, Gio van Bronckhorst was over the moon to secure the deal.
He said: “I am delighted Connor has agreed to remain a Rangers player, as he has been fantastic for me both on and off the pitch since I arrived.

“His leadership is outstanding, and he is a huge influence on so many players around him, while his consistency of performance means he is someone I can always rely on.
“I am really looking forward to seeing Connor back for pre-season in a couple of weeks and to working with him again next year.”
