RANGERS will refund fans after their friendly against Sunderland descended into chaos due to a power cut.
The Portuguese pre-season encounter was cut short at half-time after the stadium was plunged into darkness.
Hundreds of Gers fans were in attendance at the Albufeira Municipal Stadium and many supporters had purchased a stream of the game through Rangers TV.
And now the Ibrox club have confirmed all supporters will be fully refunded.
A club statement read: "Tonight's match in Portugal was abandoned at half time due to a stadium floodlight issue.
"Neither Rangers or Sunderland were responsible for the stadium operations and the floodlight failure.
"However, Rangers appreciate the support of our loyal fans and the support they give the team everywhere we go which means everything to us.
"Rangers will refund the ticket cost to all Rangers ticket holders and our supporters that purchased the match on RangersTV.
"Thanks for your continued support."
Supporters can email contact@rangers.co.uk to apply for their refunds.
