GIOVANNI van Bronckhorst insists it was a difficult decision to decide on his starting goalkeeper for the league opener against Livingston.
The Ibrox boss has Jon McLaughlin, Allan McGregor and Robby McCrorie to pick from between the sticks.
And for the trip to the Tony Macaroni stadium he favoured McLaughlin after rotating goalies in pre-season.
Explaining the decision before kick-off he said: "It was a very tough call.
"Jon started the Scottish Cup Final last season and we've mixed it up in pre-season between who starts.
"The squad is very big at the moment and we had to choose who starts today and we've started with Jon."
