PSV boss Ruud van Nistelrooy admits he's excited to reunite with Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
Rangers will play the Dutch side in the play-off round of Champions League qualifying later this month.
The Light Blues overturned Union Saint-Gilloise last night to progress 3-2 on aggregate from the tie.
PSV defeated Monaco to reach the final stage of qualifying.
van Nistelrooy is not long into the job at the Eredivisie outfit.
But the ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid star insists he's fully aware of the dangers that Rangers pose to his team.
Speaking after the 3-2 win over Monaco, he said: "I have a very high opinion of Giovanni as a person. Both of our families know each other well.
"When I see how Giovanni has done at Feyenoord and is now doing it again with the Rangers, I have a lot of admiration for that. Rangers are a fantastic opponent to play against. The atmosphere at Ibrox is great.”
The first leg will be played at Ibrox on Tuesday, August 16, with the return game in Eindhoven on Wednesday, August 25.
